About

Welcome to the new Pakistani Passion website formerly at biblesforpakistan.com. Those of you who have followed us through the years will be familiar with True Light Assemblies Church in Lahore Pakistan. You will also probably know Pastor Aamir Rafiq and Pastor Tariq Mehmood.

Pakistani Passion started when two American believers, Brian and Cathy Gray who operated a prison ministry and home church in Hawaii connected with Ammir on Facebook in 2010. A relationship formed and they began collaborating to support True Light Assemblies in their first and primary mission, namely to get the Word of God translated and into the hands of as many Pakistanis as possible. The two fellowships began sharing the word of God with one another via Skype. It was readily apparent that “Fear” was not in the Pakistani believers’ vocabulary. They were and still are a tremendous inspiration to us in their embodiment of Revelations 12:11.

“Why a new website?”

Brian and Cathy left the USA in 2016 to serve as missionaries overseas. They were unable to manage the website and process donations, and subsequently turned the responsibility over to Mrs. Kathy Webb, who managed the website and processed donations. Mrs. Webb recently passed away both suddenly and unexpectedly. Unfortunately, she did not record the login credentials for the website, and the associated PayPal account has been closed. True Light Assemblies was left with one viable option. Build a new website and become affiliated with a new missionary ministry, Hope In Time Ministries, based in Nebraska, USA, and currently serving Honduras.

Most recently, Rev. Jason Lundmark of Awakening Journey Ministries, 309 West Main Street, martintown, Illinois, 60951, visited True Light Ministries and has graciously volunteered to receive and transfer donations to Pakistan.

Twenty-three families – 130 people have been set free from Brick Kiln Slavery in the last two years as a direct result of their work.

All that being said, True Light Assemblies have come a long way in 16 years. Here is a recent video of a revival meeting in response to church burning and persecution by the other side of the divided children of Abraham whom God loves and is determined to save.

Amir says there is a deep hunger for the word of God. Their only issue is printing enough Bibles to satisfy that hunger. Today it costs six and a half USD to print one Bible in Pakistan. Won’t you please consider supporting the efforts of True Light Assemblies as they fulfill the Great Commission in Pakistan?
